Core Competency
The building blocks for the Company’s key innovations revolve
around its core competency in polymer science and technology. Specifically
the Company has developed innovations in the design and molding of polymer
products and in treating polymer surfaces to create microfluidic platforms
for complex chemical analyses. Key technologies have been licensed from
The Ohio State University and all have patents pending. Breakthroughs
achieved by the Company include the ability to work with large molecules,
such as proteins, in a microfluidic environment, which has been a technological
barrier to commercial success in this area. |
