BioLOC™ was formed to commercialize technology employing polymeric, microfluidic platforms to conduct biochemical assays.

Initially, BioLOC is concentrating its efforts on the development of a product to perform ELISAs (Enzyme-linked Immunosorbent Assays). The product is being developed on a polymeric compact disk -- in essence, a lab-on-a-disk.

ELISAs include a large family of high-end laboratory analyses with applications in rapidly expanding areas such as: medical diagnostics and medical research pharmaceutical development food safety environmental monitoring homeland security

BioLOC’s microfluidic devices reduce the cost and accelerate the turn-around time for results as compared with conventional technologies that they are designed to replace.
